Behind the scenes of the Jamboree are a bunch of committed, experienced and dedicated volunteers. These people help with the operational side of the Jamboree, helping to ensure the delivery of an amazing experience for all the Scouts and Leaders who attend. This is a great opportunity to use your business nous or personal expertise to become involved in the Jamboree at a management level.
We are looking for people with varying skills to be able to manage a team of volunteers to enable us to deliver a fun and safe Jamboree to our youth.
We are looking for: Catering Manager, Risk Manager, Logistics Manager, Youth Manager, Programme Manager, Camp Manager, Operations Manager, Communications Manager, Registrations and Staffing Manager and Purchasing Manager. Please submit your Scout and professional CV and a note outlining why you would like to be considered for the role(s)you are seeking and what you have done previously that would help you to deliver well in the role.

Applicants will be shortlisted by the end of February 2018 followed by a discussion with the short-listed candidates. The relevant Director will decideon a preferred candidate based on the discussions with the short-listed candidates and material received from them. Before informing the successful candidates, the Director will make a recommendation to the Jamboree Director. This will be discussed by the Jamboree Leadership Team. Candidates will be informed and those being appointed as managers will be announced in early March 2018.
Only one manager for each role can be appointed, unfortunately. We will ask those not appointed as managers to consider other roles that makes the best use of their skills, talent and experience to deliver a fantastic Jamboree for our Scouts.
